2000-2002 Chapter President, Grace Speights |
Grace is a dedicated and committed member of our chapter. As 2000-2002 chapter President, her leadership and achievements were outstanding. Grace surpassed all chapter goals for inspiring our children, involving our members, meeting deadlines, fulfilling local, regional and national responsibilities, and encouraging care among our membership and the community.
Her leadership and resourcefulness is evident in the many gifts that are provided on behalf of her law firm, Morgan Lewis & Bockius. These include chapter mailings/postage, hosting receptions for our local, regional & national presidents and officers, hosting mothers' planning meetings for the entire chapter, and the exemplary support provided by her secretary, Sharon Thompson.
Our design and implementation of the DC Chapter of Jack & Jill web site was yet another way that Grace helped to keep our chapter plugged in and connected to the national theme of "High Tech/High Touch". Grace and her Executive Board have also helped to further our chapter's legacy of respect among our region and national membership.
Our achievements over the past two years are due, in large part, to her exceptional leadership. Grace is an inspiration to all mothers, modeling and successfully balancing commitments to her family, profession, community, our children, the membership, and the mission and objectives of our organization. Our chapter is proud to recognize Grace for a job well done, and in recognition of contributions that enriched and promoted our chapter's growth.
